| Summary: | Until the late 1990s, the creation, development and production of objects of clothing linked to the notion of fashion in Brazil was not regarded as an activity which belonged to the design field. Appointed by MEC in 2004, to suit the higher education courses in fashion or stylist into the Undergraduate Course in Design National Curriculum Guidelines, notions about the definition, limits and differentiation of activities which then was appointed as a stylist and fashion designer have settled, or changed. Therefore, this article reports the conclusions of the analysis of the creation, structure and operation of the objects of clothing production field in Brazil. |
