Descripción
Sumario:The philosopher Simone Weil (1909 - 1943) was an impor tant contemporary thinker of the twentieth century, but her thinking is still unknown. This study aims to analyze the status of perception in Weil´s thought, contextualizing it in the French philosophical tradition. Therefore, we will make a parallel between her thought about perception with that of the philosophers Descartes, Maine de Biran, Lagneau and Alain. Thus, we intend to show through Weil´s concept of reading how this thinker understands perception inserting it into the French philosophical tradition and presenting the originality of her thought.
