| Sumario: | This work investigates the variation between verb-subject in the 3rd person of plural (3PP) with the aim of observing in which ways factors of social nature interfere in the erasing and/or maintenance of marks of the standard agreement. In order to do so, we made a bibliographic review of works developed in the light of variationist sociolinguistics (LABOV, 2001, 2008 [1972]) about the phenomenon in question. Through them we observe which social factors are constantly pointed as relevant, such as: education, age and sex/gender. Keywords: variation; verbal agreement; social factors. |
