| Sumario: | The high percentage of small and medium companies, SME, and the important paper as regards creation of wealth and employment generation, the flexibility of adaptation to the changes and the dynamism that show this type of companies contrasts with the inherent comparative disadvantages to its dimension. In this mark, concretely in that of the financial problem of the SME, it is where it is necessary to understand the development in the different European countries of the systems of guarantees. In this sense, the guidelines of the European Union head to the promotion and impulse of these through the European Investments Fund. Presently work carries out a journey for the different European systems of guarantees that it allows us to observe the great existent diversity among them and we offer relative data at the activity level of each one through two fundamental variables: number of benefitted SME and outstanding commitments. |
