Descripción
Sumario:University extension work aims to include the wider society in University activities, involving the production and sharing of knowledge. As a contribution to this process, nine events of the extension activity entitled “Permanent Forum of Debates on Organizational Management - Here among us: our Saturday talk” were undertaken within the ambit of the University of Pernambuco (UPE, Salgueiro campus). The objective of the present work was to analyze the evaluations of the participating public regarding the effectiveness of the extension methodology. This was a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, employing a questionnaire for data collection, based on the study by Ramos (2009), with adaptations. Discussion was made of the factors that could be determined by the organizers, such as the location, the place where the activity was carried out, the infrastructure used, the mediators, and the duration of the event. The results showed that the participating public classified the event as a Zone of Excellence.
